We are looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Software Implementation Specialist. The Software Implementation Specialist will be focused on capturing and translating business requirements to solutions, designing and delivering highly effective Workflow and Business Process-driven solutions, as well as supporting and operating customer solutions.

What Does The Role Entail
Forming part of a team of specialised individuals within the Software Projects Team, the Software Implementation Specialist supports and works alongside members of the Software Services in identifying and meeting the customer’s requirements. S/he is responsible for bridging the gap between the customer’s business process management (BPM) needs, leading projects, and providing consistent assistance on the development, testing, and lifecycle of the BPM and Workflow software developed, as well as mentoring the resources assigned to the project, to fulfill this need.

What You’ll Do
- Assess, interpret, and document customer’s business and functional requirements.
- Prepare estimates on project deliverables.
- Monitor project deliverables assigned, ensuring that execution is done within the stipulated timeframes.
- Lead and mentor junior members in designing and implementing software solutions in line with business and functional requirements, utilising productivity platforms, 3rdparty applications, and/or add-ons.
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade the delivered solutions as and when required.
- Lead the data extraction process,manipulation,and presentation of this data into the available platforms.
- Lead the validation of the implemented solutions, checking for the adherence to the required usability standards, in line with customer’s expectations by compiling test plans and executing test cases and scenarios.
- Lead the execution of User Acceptance activities with customers; and prepare reports communicating outcomes of such activities.
- Prepare training material and deliver systems and solutions training to end-users.
- Provide support to customers and operate the implemented solutions as required by the respective support agreements.
- Work alongside team members to review, maintain, and update appropriate customer-facing documentation.
- Participate in and support commercial activities in collaboration with ICT’s commercial team.
- Consistently provide guidance and support to junior members.
What You’ll Need
- To hold a Bachelor’s degree in computing or IT-related area.
- To preferably hold related IT industry certifications.
- To have previous experience working on databases and SQL, as well as experience delivering and supporting/operating customer solutions.
- To be passionate about technology with 5+ years of IT-related experience.
- To have solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as well as software development frameworks and methodologies.
- To have a solid understanding of designing and developing business processes and data models, as well as the ability to use, configure, and support business process automation platforms and database systems.
- To be a strong communicator with the ability to listen actively, translate, and express yourself clearly and concisely in both speech and writing.
- To be detail-oriented whilst possessing exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills, as well as having strong time management and collaborative skills.
- An eagerness to provide knowledge transfer and training ensuring that customers can effectively implement Business Process Management (BPM) solutions.
- To be customer-focused and outgoing, enjoying the frequent interfacing with customers as a way to collaborate during the iterative solution development process.
- To be willing to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, constantly looking for business areas that need optimisation, and to monitor the efficiency of implemented solutions.
- To consider yourself to be an open-minded and a self-motivated person, who is very capable of working on their own initiative but also enjoys working as part of a team.

Please note that an important requirement of this technical role is the attainment of a Personnel Security Clearance certificate applied for in Malta. An application for this certificate can only be processed by the relevant authority if the applicant is either from an EU Member State or has been residing in the Maltese islands for the past five years.
